Haryana Government has constituted seven inter-departmental working groups for implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the state and preparation of 'Vision Document 2030.'
These groups would meet fortnightly until finalisation of 'Vision Document 2030' (which will assess the needs of the state in key infrastructure and social sectors) and submit the report latest by September 30, an official release said here today.
The Department of Economic and Statistical Analysis, Haryana would provide the basic data pertaining to SDGs to the groups, it said.
"The report prepared by each SDG working group would be presented at the joint meetings of all groups chaired by the Chief Secretary," the release said.
"These meetings would build consensus on an integrated approach for the state and finalise 'Vision Document 2030'. The UNO would provide support and back-up to all working groups, including basic and essential information, on SDGs," it added.
