He said that the prospective cadets selected by the board would be divided into two groups and 14 days training would be imparted each year in January and July respectively.
He said that the anticipated cost of SSB Training for each cadet would be about Rs 15,000 which includes lodging and boarding of the cadets for the fortnight long training.
This would be directly paid to the coaching hubs by Haryana Higher Education department on completion of the training on certification by the NCC headquarters.
About 80 to 100 cadets are likely to undertake this training twice a year and an expenditure of about Rs 24 lakh to Rs 30 lakh would be incurred, he further added.
While the applicant cadets from Haryana are mentally sharp and physically robust with a high level of motivation, they are not succeeding in the selection because of their poor communication skills especially in english and lack of general awareness and grooming, he said.
