Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan was today discharged from a private hospital, four days after he underwent a brain surgery to remove a two-month-old blood clot.
"I am fantastic," Hrithik said while posing for the shutterbugs, as he came out of Hinduja hospital.
Wearing a black hoodie, 39-year-old Hrithik waved at the waiting photographers and fans and indicated he was all right and doing fine. He also showed a few dance moves.
The actor was operated upon last Sunday for subdural hematoma caused by a head injury he had suffered two months back while shooting a stunt scene for his upcoming film "Bang Bang". Subdural hematoma is a collection of blood in the space between the outer layer and middle layer of the covering of the brain.
The shooting of "Bang Bang" was postponed following the incident.
The actor has been advised complete rest by doctors for at least four weeks.
Hrithik also got a word of advice from veteran actor Dharmendra who asked him to be careful while performing stunts.
Dharmendra, who is currently in US to attend a wedding, got to know of Hrithik's surgery and called him up to check on his health.
Dharmendra made enquires about Hrithik's surgery and asked him to be careful while performing stunts, sources close to the actor said in a statement here. Hrithik is a huge fan of Dharmendra.
Meanwhile, Hrithik's good friend and filmmaker Karan Johar gifted him a personalised DVD of his latest home production film 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani'.
Hrithik has seen all of Karan's films but couldn't make it to the special screening of this movie.
