The chief minister was replying to a question asked by Congress MLA Karan Singh Dalal, during the ongoing budget session of the state assembly here.
In reply to another question, Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij said that appointment letters have been issued to 157 doctors, who were in the waiting list, which was prepared during the last recruitment. As many as 386 doctors have already joined their duty under this recruitment, he said.
In reply to another question raised by INLD MLA from Dabwali, Naina Chautala, the health minister said that according to the laid down standards, blood bank could be opened in those places where blood transfusion of more than 2,000 units takes place.
On this basis, blood bank has been established in all the districts of the state.
He said that transfusion of less than 1,000 units of blood takes place in Dabwali, yet a blood bank would be opened in Dabwali, due to demand of the people and the geographical conditions there. For this, the officials have been directed to take necessary action and take stock of the situation, he said.
