An account assistant both at the district and block level initially get Rs 12,000 per month as remuneration, which would be raised to Rs 13,800 per month after three years experience, he said.
Thereafter, it will be increased by Rs 600 every year and after seven years of experience, the account assistant would get an annual increment of five per cent.
The spokesman said at the block level, the additional block programme officer initially gets a remuneration of Rs 21,000 per month which will be enhanced to Rs 24,150 per month after three years experience. After that, it will be increased by Rs 1,050 every year. After seven years experience, he would get an annual increment of five per cent, besides Rs 500 per month lump sum as transportation allowance.
He said woman employees would get six months maternity leave. The leave would be admissible subject to completion of minimum three months service of the current contract, he added.
