Hry govt to develop Citizen Facilitation Centres

Haryana government has decided to develop 'Citizen Facilitation Centres' in all 10 Municipal Corporations, 18 Municipal Councils and 52 Municipalities in the state.
Forty one types of services, many of them free, will be provided in these centres.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar had approved a proposal to this effect, Urban Local Bodies minister Kavita Jain said here today.
The new system would facilitate online registration, issuance of birth, death and marriage certificates, registration of business licenses, issuance of water and sewerage connections, filing of property tax bills and generation of receipts, and payment of various other types of fees, charges and taxes, according to the minister.
She said the state government has been establishing Citizen Facilitation Centres in urban and rural areas to bring in transparency in schemes and to ensure that people get benefits of necessary schemes under one roof.
She added that other such centres being operated by the municipalities at their own level would also be brought under this system.
