Hry Parivahan Karamchari Sangh won't participate in Sept 2

Haryana Parivahan Karamchari Sangh, associated with Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, has decided not to participate in the proposed nationwide strike called by central trade unions on September 2.
Representatives of the Sangh called on Transport Minister Krishan Lal Panwar here today and announced the decision after meeting, an official release said.
State president, Haryana Parivahan Karamchari Sangh, Azad Singh Malik said it was decided in the meeting that about 8,500 drivers and conductors, who have joined after 2003, would be regularised from their date of joining.
He claimed the file concerned has been sent for approval of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and soon orders would be issued. Apart from this, approval has also been granted to give bonus for 2014-2015.
Malik said approval has also been given to pay TA/night allowances to bus crew who have a night halt beyond 25 kms from the depot or headquarters
It will be applicable irrespective of the fact that their native place is located at the place of night halt or is within five kms of there.

He said shoes and uniform allowances being given to employees have also been increased to Rs 1,000 each.
He said earlier the department used to purchase uniforms for employees but now they would be paid in cash to purchase themselves.
He said the state government has already given approval to fill 951 posts of technical staff for workshops on ad-hoc basis and would recruit 930 conductors on regular posts through Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
Similarly, the department would recruit 1,500 drivers.
Malik said the proposal to purchase 300 new buses has been forwarded to the High Power Purchase Committee and decision in this regard would be taken soon.
He said all the Data Entry Operators in the department have been regularised and promotion lists of all categories have been demanded so that due promotions could be given to eligible employees at the earliest.
