Huawei Telecom upgrades hospital infrastructure

Telecom major Huawei today said it has provided medical equipment under the CSR initiative, aimed at upgrading the infrastructure of Government Hospital of Thoracic Medicine, Tambaram Sanatorium, near here.
The contribution would meet the hospital needs and ensure maintenance of installed equipment for one year benefitting nearly 1,100 patients a day, a press release said.
Huawei India would provide the hospital with battery operated patient carts, oxygen lines with meters and 'RO Plant' to promote health care, it added.
