According to a senior CID officer, the manager of the godown, Pankaj Godai, was arrested in the city following questioning of two people apprehended last Friday in connection with the explosive recovery in Raghunathganj in Mushidabad.
Five hundred kg of Sulphur powder, 600 kg of ammonium nitrate, 20 kg aluminum nitrate were seized today from the godown on the first floor of a building on Strand Road in the city, he said.
Pankaj, a resident of Odisha's Cuttack, was the manager of godown which belonged to Santosh Pariya, he said.
"Pankaj has been the manager of the godown for more than five years and had taken it on lease, saying he was into transport business," he said, adding that CID was also looking for Pariya and probing into his role into the matter.

CID sources said that raw materials from the city were despatched to Murshidabad for handover to linkmen who would distribute them to different places.
"We are looking for two more persons in this connection who can be crucial to our investigation," he said.
