Huge quantity of explosives recovered in Birbhum

Around 15 quintals of gelatin sticks and 500 detonators were seized during a raid on a village in Birbhum district bordering Jharkhand today, police sources said.
SDPO Rampurhat, Koeswar Rao said that one person, suspected to be the storekeeper, was detained after the raid at Baromesia village.
"We hope to nab those who smuggled the explosive materials," he said.
