Hugh Jackman in Neill Blomkamp's sci-fi film 'Chappie'

Hugh Jackman has confirmed that he is onboard for Neill Blomkamp's upcoming sci-fi film 'Chappie'
The film, a follow-up to Blomkamp's 'Elysium', also features Sharlto Copley and Jose Pablo Cantillo, said the Hollywood Reporter quoting Screen Daily.
Speaking at the Zurich Film Festival, Jackman said, "I am doing a role in Neill's new film, called Chappie, which we shoot in Johannesburg. I'm there for a couple of weeks at the beginning of next year."
Chappie, co-produced by Sony Pictures Entertainment and MRC, features a cast that includes Sharlto Copley and Jose Pablo Cantillo. 'Slumdog Millionaire' star Dev Patel is also in early talks for the film.
Its story revolves around a kidnapped robot that's voiced by Copley. The film is slated for a March 27, 2015 release.
The actor was at the Zurich Film Festival to accept the Golden Icon lifetime achievement award and screen his latest 'Prisoners', which is directed by Denis Villeneuve.
