Humid conditions prevail in national capital

Humid conditions prevailed in the national Capital today even as the minimum temperature settled at 26.8 degrees Celsius, one notch below normal.
According to a MeT official, the maximum humidity level recorded till 8.30 AM was 68 per cent while minimum was 47 per cent.
Weatherman has predicted a partly cloudy sky for the rest of the day and maximum temperature is expected to reach at 38 degree Celsius.
"It will be partly cloudy sky throughout the day and thundershowers could occur in parts of the city," an official said.
He said the national capital received 0.9 mm rainfall till 8.30 AM this morning.
Yesterday, light rains had brought some respite from sultry weather conditions in Delhi.
The maximum temperature was yesterday recorded at 37 degrees Celsius, one notch above normal, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.6 degrees Celsius, also one notch above normal.
