Humidity soars after light rains in Delhi

It was a humid day today in Delhi as temperature soared after light rains this morning.
The city recorded 4.9 mm of rainfall till 8.30 am today, and nil showers since then till 5.30 pm, an IMD official said.
"The humidity level was 92 per cent and the minimum temperature settled at 26.2 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year," the official said.
The maximum settled at 35.2 degrees Celsius.
The department predicted light rains in some parts of the city tomorrow morning.
The maximum and minimum temperatures tomorrow would be around 36 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively.
