Bangkok's Erawan medical emergency center says seven passengers fainted while waiting more than two hours in the stifling train for operations to resume.
The train, which links the Thai capital to Bangkok's main international airport, stalled between stations at 7:50 am and passengers were transferred to another train shortly after 10 am, the rail link said in a statement.
It said some passengers opened emergency doors and "about 20 passengers" walked toward the next station along the overhead tracks. Photos circulating on social media showed a group of at least 50 people walking along the tracks.
