The Swedish brand, which has already carved a niche in 100 countries for more than 325 years,offers a robust range of quality products that are best suited for Indian conditions, aimed to bring an ease of access to modern engineering and help in boosting the productivity with their diverse range of products, Husqvarna India Managing Director Rajesh Raghavan said in a release here today.
Stating the brand has established an Indian entity based out of Chennai to cater to the needs of the sub-continent, he said that with a strong networkk of 60 dealers in India, the company is expected to grow beyong 100 dealers by the end of 2017.
India is one of the fastest growing markets and holds tremendous growth potential and the estimated combined market size of the industry is Rs 3,000 crore, Raghavan said, adding that the company expects a growth of around 10 per cent for premium hand held outdoor power tools over the next 3-5 years.
