Hyd: engineering student arrested, three stolen cars seized

Police have arrested a final year B-Tech student and seized three stolen cars, including a BMW, from him.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Jubilee Hills Police Station here nabbed Tiruveedula Suman (21) during a vehicle check at Krishna Nagar Cross Road last evening. They subsequently recovered a BMW and two other stolen cars, together worth Rs 56 lakh, from his house at Srinagar Colony.
According to police, Suman, a native of Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, is a final year B-Tech student at a city-based college.
He conned the parking security personnel at the pubs, malls and hotels which offer valet parking into handing over keys, and stole the cars from the parking lot, police said.
"He started stealing cars in October 2013 and used to drive in stolen cars after changing the number plate," deputy commissioner of police A Venkateswara Rao said.
