Hyderabad: man found to have 7 passports in different names

City police today arrested a man from Bazarghat area on the charge of holding as many as seven passports in different names.
Personnel of Commissioner's Task Force (West Zone) arrested Wasif Ahmed Iqbal, who works as a visa agent, after finding that he had seven passports with the same photograph but different names and dates of birth, Additional DCP N Koti Reddy said.
In 2002 he visited Australia on visitor's visa with a fake passport, police said.
Due to rejection of visa by US authorities, he decided to obtain another passport, for which he submitted identity proofs of a fictitious name and address.
In 2010, with the fake passports he and his wife visited to Malaysia and Thailand as tourists. In June 2012 they visited Malaysia and South Africa on fake passports, according to police.
