Their batsmen have failed to fire in unison this season and a worried Sunrisers Hyderabad Coach Tom Moody says his players are doing everything to change the sad story.
"We have not scored the runs, the way we would have liked. We are aware of that. We have been aware of that for a couple of weeks. We are doing everything we can and our players practice to rectify that. At the end of the day, it comes down to individual responsibility," he told reporters ahead of the team's crucial match against Mumbai Indians.
Moody said every match from here on would be crucial for the team.
"We are positioned at middle of the table. We recognize that every game from here on is an important one," Moody said.
Replying to a query, Moody said that the team would not look at the big names in the rival side but prepare well to face any opposition.
"We don't look at names. We are interested in making sure we prepare well for the players we come across. At the end of the day, it is a contest between bat and ball. As we have seen in the past and we will probably see in the future, teams like Mumbai are not unbeatable," he said.
Severe heat conditions are prevailing in the city with mercury levels hovering around 40 degrees, but Moody was not much worried.
"It is going to be hot. But we are not there all the day. We are there for 20 overs with the bat or ball depending on who wins the toss and we have to be prepared for it," Moody said.
