The 35-year-old actor, whose last three films were 'Ferrari Ki Sawaari' (2012), 'War Chhod Na Yaar' in 2013 and 'Gang of Ghosts', which hit theatres in March, says it is important for him to be associated with projects that he enjoys doing.
"I want to do good work, give my best and fight out at the box office like any other actor. But I am working at my own pace as I feel that the process of doing a film should be enjoyable. So, I am happy with the phase I am now," Sharman told PTI.
"The journey has been very interesting so far. God has been kind. It is lovely to be a part of this profession which I am passionate about. I have had the opportunity to do diverse roles and work with great directors and I hope the good run continues," he said.
The two stand-out films of Sharman's 15-year-long Bollywood career has been '3 Idiots' and 'Ferrari Ki Sawaari', in which he played the main lead and the actor says although both the movies hold a very special place in his heart, the latter has given him individual recognition and acclaim.
