I am confident Jaipur Pink Panthers will win: Bachchan

Introducing his players in the pink city today, filmstar and Jaipur Pink Panthers owner Abhishek Bachchan today exuded confidence that the team would win the Pro Kabaddi League.
He said that the team was working hard and making perfect strategies to deliver the best and to win the competition which, he said, would make the sport of kabaddi popular among the masses.
Bachchan, who is in the city to review preparations of the team, introduced the coach Bhaskaran, captain Navneet Gautam and other team members at a press conference here.
"The team members are doing hard practice and I am confident that they will win the league. I am staying her for next few days to see them preparing. Our first match will be on July 26 in Mumbai and the Sawai Man Singh stadium Jaipur will have the match on August 20," he said.
Bachchan Jr said that he has invested heavily and looking for sponsors but he also wants to promote the game.
"This is indigenous Indian sport and needs to be promoted in a big way. The event also involves money and I have invested heavily. It involves a strong business plan but the profit is not coming overnight, there is a long way to go," he said.

Coach of the team Bhaskaran said that the team having players from different parts of the country will deliver good results.
Bachchan Jr said that he also played kabaddi during childhood and it was taught to him by his father Amitabh Bachchan, who is expected to be present during the matches with family members including wife Jaya and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan especially on August 20.
There will be total 8 teams in the league and the matches are beginning from July 26.
