I am not in awe of Kareena: Arjun Kapoor

"Ki & Ka" will feature the unusual pairing of Arjun Kapoor and actress Kareena Kapoor for the first time but the actor says he was neither in awe of her nor intimidated by her stardom.
Arjun will play a stay-at-home husband in R Balki's upcoming romance. The actor said though he respects the "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" actress' craft, he did not behave like a fan boy on the sets of "Ki & Ka".
"I was neither intimidated by her nor was in awe of her. Kareena is a very dear friend. We have known each other from before... I am a fan of the work she has done, the actress she is but I did not behave like a starstruck guy in front of her. I respect her as a friend and a co-star," Arjun told PTI.

The film, set to hit theatres on April 1, will see the 30-year-old actor portraying an educated but non-ambitious man, who is happy to have his wife work.
The "2 States" star said in real life, he is highly ambitious but will never stop his partner to pursue her goals.
"My character in the movie is very well-educated but makes a choice to stay at home. He is not a slacker. The film is about understanding each other in a relationship. I, personally, am very ambitious.
"That does not mean I will ask my girl or woman to not work. It is about our personal choice and not our gender," Arjun said.
