The 22-year-old singer, who recently split from Miss Universe beauty Olivia Culpo, admitted he finds fame hard to deal with, reported Entertainment Weekly.
"The fans come from all across the spectrum I think. There's no way to really define the age group of the fans," Jonas said.
"People that come up to me and tell me they like the music are far from what it used to be. I'm still getting used to it."
The "Jealous" hitmaker, who works as both a solo artist and part of the Jonas Brothers, said he hopes his new music will "break down perceptions" about him.
"That's been the big goal this last year and a half, to break some of the perceptions down and rebuild," he said.
