Joshi, a known detractor of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, said the reports of his exit from the party post the Mumbai conclave were totally "baseless".
"I am very much there in the party and BJP is in my heart," Joshi said while speaking at an event organised by Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Smruti Sewa Samiti at Silvassa in Union Territory of Daman.
Taking a swipe at Congress, Joshi said the UPA government at the Centre is thoroughly corrupt.
"The Congress-led UPA government at Centre is deep into corruption and has broken all records in the national history. Even corruption to the tune of Rs 70,000 crore in organising Commonwealth Games still exists," he said.
Joshi blamed the "shielding of middlemen and hoarders," by Centre for the spiralling rise in prices of essential goods.
The former RSS pracharak had to exit from the party's national executive meet apparently due to insistence from Modi. Later, Joshi also quit from his post of in-charge of Uttar Pradesh.
The fallout turned bitter with the posters praising Joshi appearing up in many places in the country including the national capital.
