Rannvijay, best known as the host of "Roadies", says he consistently refused offers to star in 'saas-bahu' serials.
"I don't think so I can do a daily soap. If I had to, I would've done it when I started getting offers (at the age of) 24-25, sometime around 2005. The amount of money I don't make now was offered, but I didn't," Rannvijay told PTI.
The actor, who worked in films like "Action Replay" and "London Dreams", feels comfortable doing limited series.
"I need to earn money to live a life. If I don't have a life, then what will I do with the money? I have enough ways to generate money by doing things I love," Rannvijay said.

The actor will be next seen with Bollywood star Sunny Leone co-hosting season 9 of MTV reality show "Splitsvilla".
For the second time, Rannvijay will pair up with the "Ek Paheli Leela" star for the show.
'Splitsvilla' season 9 will have 15 men (warriors) trying to woo six women (princesses) and has the tag line, "where women rule".
Rannvijay says the change in the show's format was much needed for keeping up with today's times.
"I liked that it changed, otherwise the question arises why are you doing it again and again. Something like this had to be done, to let people know that women are equal to men. It may take years for people to completely accept that, but we have to do it," he said.
