Directed by Prashant Bhardwaj, the film has won accolades across the globe. "Patang" had its world premiere in 2011 at the Berlin Film Festival and it was subsequently selected as one of 12 films for screening in competition at the Tribeca Film Festival.

The 27-year-old plays the role of a girl who travels with her father to his childhood home in Ahemdabad during the kite flying festival where the entire family has to confront its fractured past. The film releases later this year.

Garg says she enjoyed working with stars like Seema Biswas and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

"Seema is a champ and her acting is really something to me. She gets in the character real quick. Nawazuddin is glowing in the film. He has done a great job in 'Kahaani'," she said.

Meanwhile, the anchor-actress will host her new show on Fox Traveller which will be aired on May 6, a travelogue that will unravel the off-beat traditions of the lesser known India.

"If I were to sum up my experience of the 'It Happens Only In India', It would be bizarre. I ate rat on one of the trips. It is called Musa hunting. I also tasted silkworm in Majhauli which was crunchy to eat.

"I have become an encyclopedia and I keep on going saying, did you know this? did you know that? To which Raghu (her husband) replies 'yes'," added Sugandha.

She has also signed up for the sequel of 'Tere Bin Laden'. "It is like homecoming for me. Working with Abhishek again will be fun. It will be fantastic seeing Pradhuman (who played Osama Bin Laden) on the sets," she said.
