Dinklage has earned an Emmy and a Golden Globe Award for his portrayal of Tyrion, a member of House Lannister in the fictional kingdom of Westeros.
Tyrion, known as author G R R Martin's finest creation, uses his humour and wit to counter derision from everyone for being a dwarf in the popular series. He is one of the most loved characters in the novels and on the HBO show, which just finished its fifth season run.
"It's been my job now for about five or six years, and it's a pretty serious show (Game of Thrones)... I don't like to bore myself in terms of like pigeonholing myself or repeating anything, so I love jumping into something like this (Pixels)," Dinklage told reporters at the Summer of Sony press event here.
The actor, whose film credits include "Death At A Funeral", "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian", "A Little Bit of Heaven" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past", said he get a lot of offers to play roles similar to Tyrion.
