Actor Ryan Phillippe says he sometimes gets mistaken for his eldest daughter Ava's brother because he looks so young.
The 42-year-old actor, who has three children, including Ava Elizabeth, 17, Deacon Reese, 13, and five-year-old Kai, says his youthful appearance embarrasses his eldest daughter.
When asked by "The Late Late Show" host James Corden if he was an embarrassing father, Ryan said, "If you asked them, they might have a list (of things that embarrass them).
"One thing I know my daughter gets embarrassed by is that I do look so young and I get mistaken for her brother at times. It repulses her, like absolutely repulses her that anyone could mistake me for being her brother."
The "Cruel Intentions" star, who entered fatherhood at the age of 25, said it was his mother's daycare centre, which helped him prepare for early fatherhood.
"My mum had a daycare centre in our house, so when I would get up to get ready for school, there would already be 10 children who were not part of our family in the house.
"But then it made me ready to be a young father because I grew up raising kids. I grew up working in the daycare. I would teach the kids to swim, I would do magic shows for them, all that kind of stuff.
