Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor who made news in the past due to her controversial comments on Aishwariya Rai, Shobha De and Abhay Deol among others, says she has a tendency to be brutally honest.
"I have a tendency of being honest...Brutally honest and often get into trouble because of this. But I believe it pays to be honest in the longer run," Sonam said at the ongoing Jaipur Literature Festival here.
The actress was here to launch a book titled "The Front Row: Conversations on Cinema" by film critic and journalist Anupama Chopra.
"I always want my interviews to be interesting and fresh, you can't repeat the same things again and again. So, in order to be interesting I often end up sharing the most honest opinions which become controversies," she said.
Questions on her sartorial style and the "pranks" she played with co-stars on film sets, annoy the actress.
"I hate being asked why did you decide to wear bikini in particular film. Its simple I had to shoot a swimming poll scene I could have worn a one piece but I wore a bikini because I have a tiny waist and I wanted to flaunt it. That's brutally honest again!" Sonam said.
