The actress, who once publicly spoke against the director, has teamed up with Bay on the upcoming live action 'Teenage Mutant Nija Turtles' reboot.
Fox, who once comapred Bay to Hitler, says she always liked liked the director despite their differences, reported the Entertainment Weekly.
"He was one of the most lovely people that I dealt with in making this movie. I've always loved Michael. We've had our battles in the past but even when I've been really outspoken about difficulties we've had, I've always followed up by saying that I have a particular affinity to him," she said.
Their fight stemmed from a quote that Fox gave to a magazine in 2009 where she said the director was a nightmare to work with.
After Fox's comments, Steven Spielberg reportedly urged Bay to fire the actress from Transformers movies and Bay followed it by replacing her with Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
