"I have learned a lot from last year to this year. In between there was the under 19 (World Cup tournament) and I was able to learn from Rahul sir (Dravid). I am getting more experience and am able to learn more as Shane Watson too has come into our team," he said ahead of RCB's IPL game tomorrow against Mumbai Indians.
"In the first year I committed some mistakes in IPL. I want to avoid making the same mistakes I made last year. They (seniors) have given confidence. They said this is our first match, you continue to play as you did, but also play as far as possible according to the team situation," he added.
"I will be playing for the first time here for RCB. Our top order batsmen are in form. If I get a chance I will try to play well. If I perform well here where I have played before I do feel good."
He said he had been promoted and done well in the practice games of RCB.
"In the selection matches for RCB, I was given chance to bat up the order and did well.
