"I like the smartness and hilarious feel of their films. They have introduced this new genre of Bengali cinema which is typical of their style," the Iti Mrinalini director told PTI at the premier of 'Jodi Love Dile Na Prane' of the duo.
"It is an encouraging sign they are making one film after another, all having their hallmark of Bengaliness, and the movies are hitting the right chord with the audiences," the multiple award winner Paromitar Ekdin maker said.
"From Biye Not Out, Chander Pahar to Obhispoto Nighty, this is an age where lots of experimentation go on and Jodi Love Dile Naa is another addition to that. There is no point in pressing the alarm bells and say 'Gelo Gelo Sab Gelo.' The reverence to old world values and principle and commitment in 'Jodi Love...' proves nothing has infact gone. We still remain rooted," the Hawa Bodol actor said.
