Das, who also turned director with 'Firaaq', is back to acting with three different projects - Devashish Makhija's 'Oonga', 'Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyon Aata Hai' and Spanish film 'Traces of Sandalwood'.
'Oonga' is in the India Gold competition section at the ongoing Mumbai Film Festival while 'Albert Pinto' is screening in the Mumbai Film Mart, which Das inaugurated yesterday. The film deals with the same subject that Naseerudin Shah starrer dealt with but has a different take.
"Also, I think they feed on each other. My human rights work has helped me understand my characters better and similarly my exposure to cinema and being an actor has given me a platform to talk about things that I am concerned about. Everything is interlinked. I am trying to live my life full," she added.
