The designer says he does not believe that he has "done it all" and feels every show is a learning experience.
"I don't come from the mindset that I've done it all, so many shows and so many movies. For each show I get really nervous and anxious. It's just about wanting to do better, it's a learning process. I think I am as much a newcomer as any other newcomer designer," Malhotra told reporters here on the sidelines of his preview show for the upcoming Lakme Fashion Week.
"Mine is the opening show at the fashion week, it is a responsibility because that is what sets the standard and marks for whats going to come. But it's a responsibility which I enjoy."
The 50-year-old designer will present his collection called "Elements", which is in tune with the Lakme Fashion Week's Summer/Resort edition.
