I-T surveys in Indore reveal undeclared income of Rs 8 crore

Undeclared income of around Rs 8 crore has come to light following 'surveys' at three establishments here, income tax department officials said today.
Checks at a sari dealer's led to the discovery of undeclared income of Rs 3.55 crore while a wedding decorator was found to have paid no taxes on earnings of Rs 1 crore.
A third survey, at yet another establishment, threw up undeclared income of Rs 3.51 crore.
Officials are in the process of recovering the tax dues from these three establishments, sources added.
