Ridhima, 23, will be seen in the Dubai leg of the film. Set on five continents and helmed by 25 directors, it will have a world premiere on May 25.
"When I heard about the project from a friend who posted me online about it, I had one thing in my mind that if an idea like this accomplished then I would definitely be the part of the film. I always want to be the part of good cinema and directors who think out-of-box.
"Initially, I tried for Indian leg but I could not make it because they have selected the actress for it. Then I gave audition for Dubai segment and got selected for it because my director Sahad Shaikh wanted a face which has Indian and Arab features," Ridhima told PTI.
The film, which has entered the Guinness World record for being filmed by highest number of directors, follows the adventures of an old backpack that is passed from character to character around the world.
"It is a global film that will have maximum visibility. I play a Dubai based girl in the film. Her boyfriend is cheating on her. I play a spoiled girlfriend and my character has a tinge of comedy too," said Ridhima, who did a special course in theatre from New York University.
After working in a short film "The Audition", the actress is currently shooting for another short teenage drama "Cyranide".
