Jewellers body India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) on Tuesday said it has appointed Mukesh Mehta, a director on the IBJA board, as the new president.

Mehta is a director of Mark Bangles and has already been on the IBJA Board for the last four years and has served on various committees, IBJA said in a release issued here.

He replaced Mohit Kamboj, who resigned in the last Annual General Meeting of IBJA held on August 24.

IBJA is a 97-year-old organisation representing bullion dealers and jewellers from across the country.
