"BJP has at least 15 Prime Ministerial candidates - right from L K Advani to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister. When the time comes to elect a leader, the party will choose one among them," Industry Minister and state BJP leader Kailash Vijaywargiya said while talking to reporters in the Assembly premises here.
He was reacting to Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh's remark that Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj was a better Prime Ministerial nominee in the BJP in comparison to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
However, Vijaywargiya did not specify the names of other BJP leaders who he think are suitable for the post.
Taking potshots at Singh, the BJP leader said the former Chief Minister is not taken seriously even by his own party and he makes controversial statements just to remain in news.
