The day temperature today rose by two degrees to settle at 18.3 degrees and people ventured out to soak up the warmth.
However, it was still two notches below the season's average.
The minimum was recorded at 7.2 degrees Celsius, normal for this part of the year and 0.4 degrees more than yesterday.
According to the MeT department, shallow fog was observed in the national capital in the early hours and visibility was recorded at 500 meters at 5.30 AM and 8:30 AM.

The humidity in air oscillated between 92 and 54 per cent.
MeT has predicted clear skies for tomorrow which may become partly cloudy from night onwards.
"It will be a mainly clear sky which will become partly cloudy night onwards. There will be moderate to dense fog in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover at 19 and 7 degrees Celsius," said the MeT forecast.
