Electronics industry body IESA today said its President PVG Menon would step down next month.
"PVG Menon has contributed immensely to the further advancement of IESA's goals and mission. We shall miss his dynamic leadership and wish him all the very best for his future endeavours," Indian Electronics and Semiconductor Association's Chairman Sanjeev Keskar said in a statement.
Menon has been serving as IESA President since mid-2011 and was a key face of association for coordinating on government policies for industry.
"I'm glad to have been given the opportunity to transform the organisation and make it more broad-based and relevant to the industry," Menon said.

During his tenure as President, industry saw approval of two semiconductor or electronic chip plants in the country entailing investment of about Rs 63,410 crore.
