Kerala State Chalachitra Academy (KSCA), the organiser of the event, said the delay till next Sunday was necessitated by plans to roll out a flawless advance booking system.
The state film agency will offer SMS reservation facility for IFFK 2015 considering the large number of requests by youth organisations, its officials said in a release today.
Only a certain percentage of total seats in the theatre will be available for reservation. A delegate can reserve a seat at three screenings daily. The reservation facility for a screening will be made available 48 hours prior to that particular screening, it said.
Delegate kits will be distributed from November 30 through counters at Tagore theatre, the release added.
IFFK 2015, Kerala's premier film festival, runs from December 4-11.
