IFFK: Exhibition of vintage film posters attracts delegates

An exhibition of old movie posters, organised at Kanakakkunnu Palace here, as part of the ongoing 20th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK), is wooing large number of film buffs including foreign delegates.
The poster exhibition, conducted by the National Heritage Mission under the aegis of National Film Archives, was inaugurated by Kerala Chalachithra Academy Chairman T Rajeev Nath yesterday.
The exhibit consists of 78 revamped posters of films made during the period 1913-1977.
The oldest among the collection was the poster of Dadasaheb Phalke's silent movie 'Raja Harishchandra'.
The collection included eight Malayalam films by legendary filmmakers G Aravindan and John Abraham.
Poster of Malayali filmmaker John Abraham's path-breaking movie 'Agraharathile Kazhuthai' is also on display.
The eight day-long IFFK, which began with a grand opening ceremony will be concluded on December 11.
