IG BSF briefs Governor about security situation along IB

The Inspector General of Border Security Force (BSF) Jammu frontier Rakesh Sharma today called on Jammu and Kashmir Governor NN Vohra and apprised him about the security situation along the International Border (IB) in Jammu region.
Sharma briefed the Governor about the overall security situation in the area of his responsibility, particularly along the International Border in Jammu region.
Keeping in view the incidence of transgressions and cross-border firing incidents, the Governor advised BSF IG to maintain enhanced surveillance and full preparedness along the entire IB, at all times.
