The 10 day exhibition "25 Years of audiovisual journey: Recalling through Equipment and Documentation" which began at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts here today aims to be a retrospective stopover to view process of evolution over the past quarter century and how the world is negotiating towards the future."
"The exhibition is for people, who want to know about the process of documentation. It will also showcase the archival work we have been doing in this centre," says Dipali Khanna, member secretary IGNCA.
The Centre is also organising a film festival which will screen six documentaries from renowned directors to highlight during the exhibition. A workshop on documentary making would is also scheduled.
"I am very impressed with this exhibition. This exhibition portrays the change in technology. I want that these DVDs should be sold on small platform so it can accessed easily," actor Kulbhushan Kharbanda said at the launch.
