It operates in infrastructure development, construction and project management space and executes projects in sectors such as buildings and structures, roads, railways, irrigation, power, ports, and oil and gas.
In a BSE filing, the firm said, "A meeting of the Board of Directors of the company will be held on June 18, 2015, inter alia, to consider additional fund raising options for the company."
In April, IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company said it has won a Rs 327-crore contract from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL).
Total standalone income was also down at Rs 583.56 crore against Rs 830.25 crore in the reported quarter.
The company's shares today fell 0.37 per cent to settle at Rs 68 apiece on the BSE.
