The Lights hitmaker, an avid runner, was expected to join the hundreds of participants in Victoria Park for the 10 kilometre challenge, and even sent out an encouraging message on as she prepared for the race.
"Congratulations to all the brilliant ladies who ran the 10k today, couldn't take part because of illness, but was so happy I could make it down to cheer you on and it was lovely to actually see you all running!
"I hope you rewarded yourselves with either a cheeky nandos (fast food chicken restaurant)... Or a cheeky G&T (gin and tonic). Much love," she wrote on Instagram.
