Imposter who cheated people offering government jobs arrested

A school teacher, who posed as a personal assistant to an official in the Telangana Chief Minister's Office here and allegedly collected money under the guise of offering people compensation and getting them government jobs has been arrested, a police press release said here today.
Central Crime Station (CCS), a wing of the Hyderabad city police arrested Bangaru Suresh, who is a resident of the Karimnagar district in Telangana hailing from Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh, the police release said.
CCS had received two complaints that Suresh Kumar who posed as a personal assistant collected Rs 10,000 from one Anjaiah offering him compensation for his son who had committed suicide, but never responded after collecting the amount, the release said.
In another complaint against Suresh Kumar, it was alleged that he posed as personal secretary to the Additional Secretary of the Telangana CM, after which he took Rs 60,000 from one Raj Kumar, a job aspirant, the release said.
In both the cases, the imposter was identified as Suresh Kumar since there is no such person working in the Telangana CM's staff, the release said.
"Since August 2014, Suresh, who is a school teacher from Karimanagar collected money from some people claiming that he had channels the CM's staff and can provide jobs," a press release said.
