The Ministers, who have quit, first met Pradhan at the BJP office here and presented their version on why the Chief Minister should be replaced with their nominee.

Later, Gowda, along with some 10 ministers and a dozen legislators supporting him, were closetted with Pradhan, in-charge of party affairs in Karnataka, and made a strong pitch against change of leadership.

"I have met all important leaders of Karnataka Bharatiya Janata Party", Pradhan told reporters. "We are inching towards early solution to this crisis. Everything will be settled within (the) party", he said.

Medical Education Minister S A Ramadass, after meeting Pradhan, said the party's Parliamentary Board would meet in the Delhi in next two-three days to discuss the crisis.
