Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said inclusive development had taken place in the state during the last nine years of Congress rule.
He said expansion of rail and road networks, setting up of thermal power plants and construction of national highways are indicative of state's development.
Hooda was addressing a public meeting in village Ladian in Haryana's Jhajjar district after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of various development projects costing Rs 10.45 crore.
Hooda said his government had implemented several welfare programmes for all sections of society.
"To ensure roof to everybody, we have decided to construct two lakh affordable houses in rural areas and 1.5 lakh in urban areas during the next two years," he said.
Describing farmers as the backbone of the country and the state, Hooda said his government had ensured remunerative prices to them.
