Income Tax search in contractor's house in Sulur

Income Tax officials today searched a building contractor's house following reports that a "large amount" of cash had been kept there for distribution to voters in the run up to the May 16 assembly polls.
The search in the house of Karupupasamy at Sulur in the city outskirts was carried out by IT sleuths along with election department officials, police said.
Details of the search were not yet available, they said.
