Increase in temp give slight respite to Patna

Residents in Bihar's capital city of Patna, which has been in the grip of cold weather condition for the past few days, got some respite today as the maximum and the minimum temperatures increased slightly due to afternoon sunshine.
As per the Met bulletin the maximum temperature was recorded at 21.3 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 19.9 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was recorded at 10.6 degrees Celsius against yesterday's of 9.6.
Patnaites woke up to dense fog this morning but good sunshine brought some respite from the shivering cold.
Patna meteorological centre has forecast foggy/misty morning tomorrow and the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be around 20 and 11 degrees Celsius respectively.
It also forecast foggy/misty morning tomorrow at Gaya, Bhagalpur and Purnea.
Temple town of Gaya recorded a low of 8.8 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 25.9 degrees Celsius, it said.
Bhagalpur had the minimum of 11.5 degrees Celsius and maximum of 22.4, while Purnea registered minimum of 12.2 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 19.3 degrees Celsius.
The lowest temperature of 8 degrees Celsius was recorded at Sabour in Bhagalpur district today, Met office said.
